Using a blend of hardening natural oils and waxes, Carl’s Hard Wax Oil provides a comfortable, natural surface to wooden floors. It makes the surface water and dirt repellent and is designed for the surface treatment of untreated hardwood and other types of wooden floors exposed to normal or heavy wear.

Technical Data

 

Contents:                   Carnauba and candelilla wax, paraffin, sunflower, soy and thistle oil.

Solids content:           Approx. 48 %

Dilution:                     Ready-to-use, do not dilute

Drying time:                Between coats: 3-4 hours.

                                 After final application: min 8 hours.

Application tool:          Good quality brush with tightly packed fine bristles or short haired mohair roller.

Application rate:          Approx. 20-24 m² per litre and coat.

Cleaning:                    Tools should be cleaned in White Spirit immediately after application.

Safety:                       Contains 2-butanonoxime. May produce an allergic reaction, see MSDS for more information.

Flash point:                58°C

Shelf life:                    5 years, from the date of production, in       unopened original container

Storage:                     Store frost free in a cool, well ventilated area away from incompatible materials and ignition sources.

Disposal:                    Wastes and emptied containers should be handled in accordance with local regulations. Waste code 08 01 11.
